National Television Awards 2026: Winners revealed

With voting open for the last few months, the 2026 National Television Awards took place at The O2 Arena in London on Tuesday 8th September, as the most recognisable faces from the world of TV gathered to celebrate the last 12 months.
On a night where Paloma Faith and Amanda Holden surprised their good friend Alan Carr with the Lifetime Achievement Award, it was also a great night for the likes of Clarkson's Farm, Gogglebox and Sheridan Smith's I Fought The Law.
Despite competition from the likes of Alison Hammond, Ant and Dec, and Claudia Winkleman, it was 100-year-old Sir David Attenborough who picked up this year's TV Presenter, whilst This Morning won the Daytime Award.
There was also an emotional moment during the ceremony when Holly Willoughby announced Our Girls: The Southport Families had won the award for Authored Documentary, with the audience giving the families who lost their daughters a long standing ovation.
Other notable winners of the night included The Celebrity Traitors, Call the Midwife, The 1% Club, Emmerdale and Strictly Come Dancing.

The National Television Awards have been held at The O2 Arena in London since 2023.
Who hosted the show?
As he has since 2021, comedian and The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett once again hosted the ceremony.
Hits Radio presenter Sam Thompson hosted the red carpet, alongside his best friend and KISS' Pete Wicks, who was already joined by his new girlfriend Olivia Attwood.
