Last updated 27th Jan 2026
Following the successful series last year, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins returned to Channel 4 in January 2026, this time featuring a huge twist!
Celebrities from the UK and Australia were pushed out of their comfort zones by former Special Forces staff as they took on the gruelling SAS selection course. After weeks of facing punishing challenges, extreme conditions, and uncompromising discipline, just five recruits made it to the final. Here's your ultimate guide to the 2026 series.
When was the final?
The final episode aired at 9pm on Monday 26th January.
Who was in the final?
Just five recruits remained going into the final episode, including Mack Horton and Emily Seebohm from Australia, and Gabby Allen, Dani Dyer and Ben Cohen from the UK.
Mack Horton (Australia)
Emily Seebohm (Australia)
Dani Dyer-Bowen (UK)
Gabby Allen (UK)
Ben Cohen (UK)
Who won?
Following the final challenges, it was Love Island stars Dani Dyer and Gabby Allen, and Olympian Emily Seebohm who all successfully passed the course.
Taking to Instagram after the episode, Dani told her fans: 'I can’t believe it’s over!! Tonight was the final episode of @sas_whodareswins on @channel4 💘 this was honestly the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I learnt so much along the way and really pushed myself out of my comfort zone. It’s safe to say I’ll never forget this experience 😂 thanks to everyone who’s watched and supported along the way! Your messages have meant so so much to me🤍🤍🤍🤍 Gabby and Emily you got me through it all and I’m so glad I had you both by my side right at the end!! Absolute girl power🩷
'Billy, Jason, Rudy & chris.. just thank you for everything, the support, encouragement and constantly pushing me.. I wouldn’t have got to the end without you all (I know you were just as shocked as I was 🤣🤣) you are all legends and so grateful for the opportunity 🤍'. (sic)
Personal trainer Gabby then wrote: 'The girls did it for the girls. WE F---IN DID IT!!!!!! (Had to swear to stay in character, you know 🤪)
'HOW THE HELL WE DID IT.. I do not know. BUT we did. We dug deep and proved that us little women, “tellytubby, oompa lumps, guppy fish, little b!!tch” women CAN do anything we set our minds to… this time for us it was 36 HOURS OF PURE BRUTALITY. 😩😆
'I am so proud of every single one of us who took on the course to any degree. Mack and Ben — true pioneers of strength. It was an honour to take on the last phase with you.
'Dani and Emily… ICONIC. Standing there with you both at the end is a moment I’ll never forget. I was numb to the core — exhausted, broken, terrified — and I still wouldn’t have wanted to pass this course without you by my side. I love you.
'I’m in awe of you two. Of all of us. We endured sheer torture and went all the way to the end.
'Thank you (I think 👀🤣) to @sas_whodareswins for this once in a lifetime opportunity to push ourselves to our ABSOLUTE limit in every possible way. It was humbling, terrifying and liberating'. (sic)
When did it start?
The 2026 series kicked off at 9pm on Sunday 4th January, with episodes airing every Sunday and Monday nights on Channel 4.
What was the new format?
Unlike past series, the 2026 instalment saw celebrities from both Britain and Australia take on the brutal course in North Africa, as they left their luxury lives behind them for Special Forces training.
Channel 4 say: 'The UK and Aussie recruits are put under extreme pressure as every mistake is punished, every crack exploited, every weakness dragged into the open. Not everyone will have what it takes to make it to the end as bonds snap, egos shatter, and recruits are pushed so far past their limits they forget they ever had any.
'But when the dust settles, one question remains: will any of these celebrities make it to the end of this physically demanding and psychologically gruelling course and impress the DS enough to pass the course? And, more importantly, will the UK or Australia emerge victorious when the rivalry finally reaches its breaking point?'
