HeritageLive Festivals have announced the latest artist to join their incredible line-up, which already includes Eric Clapton (plus special guest Ronnie Wood).

Lionel Richie, the singer known for hits such as ‘All Night Long’, ‘Dancing on the Ceiling’, and ‘Hello’, will take to the stage at Sandringham Estate on Thursday 20th August, kicking off the series of events due to take place on the Estate this summer.

Speaking about the latest announcement, Giles Cooper of HeritageLive Festivals commented: “Lionel Richie is quite simply one of the greatest entertainers of all time. From his early days at Motown through to the incredible solo career that has seen him sell millions of records and perform to audiences all over the world, his music has soundtracked generations.

“To have an artist of his calibre perform an exclusive UK show for us at The Sandringham Estate in 2026 is truly special, and we can’t wait for what is going to be an unforgettable evening of timeless music!”

What is HeritageLive Festivals?

HeritageLive Festivals is an annual festival, the festival at Sandringham Estate started in 2023, over the last three years, huge names such as Van Morrison, The Who, Robbie Williams, Mariah Carey, Pet Shop Boys, Michael Bublé and Stereophonics, have all performed.

The Festivals also take place at other heritage sites, including English Heritage’s Audley End House & Gardens in Essex, and the privately owned Englefield Estate in Berkshire.
