Finally!
Last updated 1 hour ago
After launching a website a number of years ago, and introducing a click and collect service, high street giant Primark has now confirmed they will start a home delivery service in the UK, for the first time ever.
ABF’s chief executive George Weston said: “Our priority focus areas, the UK and womenswear, continued to outperform our other markets and categories.
“Primark has made significant progress in building its digital capabilities and will continue this through both growing click & collect and by offering home delivery in Great Britain in the future.
“There is now an opportunity for incremental and profitable growth through this channel.”
When does home delivery begin?
Primark are yet to announce when the home delivery service in the UK will begin, but they have revealed they've bought a warehouse in Sheffield.
The service will not include stores in Northern Ireland.
How do I order online from Primark?
Very little details have been announced just yet, but it's understood customers will be able to buy products from their online store at Primark.com
At the moment, Primark doesn't have an online shop, but customers are able to use Primark's Click and Collect service for a selected range of products.
How much will delivery cost?
At this stage, no delivery costs have been announced.
The news comes as Primark announced it expects its sales to dip by 2.6% over the last financial year, thanks to competition from the likes of Shein and Boohoo, as well as TiKTok shop.
In recent years, Primark has teamed up with a number of celebs for fashion collabs, including Stacey Solomon, Rita Ora and Coleen Rooney.
