Oldham Athletic player, Kian Harratt, has spoken out about a video circulating online which shows him throwing a chair, before it hits a woman in the head by a pool in Ibiza.
In the videos, Harratt can be seen picking up a plastic chair and throwing it towards a group of people, where it hits a woman in the back of the head, before she falls to the floor.
Various angles of the incident have gone viral on different social media platforms.
Taking to TikTok, the striker has since shared his side of the story.
The footballer claims that just before the incident, another man had been making young couples 'uncomfortable' and that a chair was thrown at him first.
In a comment, the striker said: "I hope this video opens peoples eyes. I had to post it cause I've had nothing but abuse all morning and I'm sure this will clear it or so it should.
"I picked the chair up and threw it back and it accidently hit the woman.
"I was very apologetic and I felt terrible."
