Man arrested after firearm discharged outside York Mosque
No one was hurt in the incident and police enquiries are ongoing.

Police have arrested a man after a firearm was discharged outside York Mosque and Islamic Centre on Bull Lane in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The incident took place at 2.19am when what is believed to be an air rifle was discharged. No-one was hurt and the suspect left the scene in a silver vehicle. He was traced and quickly arrested.
Police say the arrested man is a 44-year-old white UK national from York. He is currently being held in custody for questioning.
There are high-visibility police patrols being provided in the vicinity of York Mosque as people attend for prayer.
Officers believe it is too early to say what may have been the motivation behind the incident, but they wish to reassure York's Muslim community that they are doing everything they can to establish the full circumstances.
Police are asking witnesses or anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage that could support the investigation to call them on 101.
