Zara Larsson turned to her friends' love lives for inspiration for her album
Her love life is 'boring' in a good way
We're just over a week away from the release of Zara Larsson's next album called 'Venus', and the singer joined Fleur East, James and Matt on Hits Radio Breakfast to talk about it, and the inspiration behind it.
Zara, who has just released her latest song 'You Love Who You Love', the follow up to 'On My Love' with David Guetta, explained how she's had to use her friends' love lives as inspiration for her new album, as she's so happy in love at the moment. 💕
The singer, who has been with her boyfriend Lamin Holmen for four years, explained: "I really get super inspired by my friends, because my own (love) life is so boring!
"I just feel like everything's great, maybe I should do more songs like that 'everything's great, everything's amazing, I'm super happy, I'm super in love', but yeah it's boring in the best, best way possible. No drama!"
The singer went on to describe some of the songs on her new album, saying: "Even on some songs, on the album, which are a bit more sad, or maybe not in the best head space, or whatever it is... I really get super inspired by my friends."
Zara, is also due to go on tour later this year, the first time since before the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2020, and she's very excited to be back performing to fans. She told Fleur and the team: "I'm just excited to get out, I cannot wait to just see people, because you know, you hear your song on the radio, or you see music videos, and the song on streaming platforms, it's mostly just a number.
"But, when you get out, you see real faces in the crowd and people are singing your songs, or just there to create memories. That's what it's all about for me at least."

James Blunt
Following the release of his sun-soaked single 'Tastes Like Summer', James Blunt announced a tour across the UK next year, and tickets are now on sale. The singer will be starting in Leeds on Friday 26th March, with dates across England, Scotland and Wales, ending the following month, on Thursday 8th April, in Brighton.

Chase & Status have announced three UK dates starting at Manchester's Co-op Live on Friday 19th March 2027, continuing on to Birmingham's Utilita Arena, and finishing in London at The O2 Arena on Friday 2nd April 2027.

In June 2027, fans will get the chance to see David Guetta's iconic Monolith show in London. The performance sees the French DJ perform in front of a huge illuminated monolith, showing visualisations bringing the performance to life on stage.
Sam Fender
The 'Seventeen Going Under' singer will be performing at five locations across the UK on his 'Proper Massive Stadium Tour', starting with two homecoming gigs in Newcastle in June, followed by Cardiff, London (two dates), Edinburgh and Manchester (two dates).
Harry Styles
On Thursday 10th September, the singer delighted fans by revealing some MORE UK dates, for his 'Together Together' tour which wrapped in the UK in July 2026! He will be returning for three more UK dates in August 2027.
