Tributes pour in after Bristol family man found dead

Tributes have been paid to a 'much-loved' family man, following his death in Bristol.

Anthony Clemmings, known to many as Tony, was discovered by a member of the public on a roof garden of a block of flats in Redcliff Street just before 8.20 am on Tuesday . He was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a tribute released by his family, they said:

“Tony was a lovely man to all those that truly knew him.

“He was a much-loved son, brother, and uncle, and he will be greatly missed.

“His death has come as a huge shock to us, and we ask for privacy as we try to come to terms with what has happened."

The 54-year-old's death is currently being treated as a murder inquiry, with detectives from the Major Crime Investigation Team leading the case.

Forensics and CCTV inquiries have been conducted as the investigation continues.
