Sheep attacked by dogs near Winscombe

Avon and Somerset Police are looking to trace an owner

Sheep have been attacked by a dog near Winscombe, with Avon and Somerset Police looking for information.

The incident happened in the Dolberrow and Churchill area at around 3.15pm last Tuesday afternoon (1st April).

A member of the public had reported the incident half an hour later.

The dog involved is described as medium to large in size, and of a ginger or blonde colour.

It was with a man who was wearing dark clothing.

Police want to hear from anyone who might have witnessed what happened, or the owner of the dog for their account of the incident.
