On the 21st of July 2023, Eddie Kinuthia was stabbed to death round the corner from his home in the Grosvenor Road area of St Pauls, Bristol.

Eddie was just 19 when he was fatally stabbed in a park off Grosvenor Road in St Paul’s, Bristol just before 11pm.

The decision to dedicate the renaming of Winkworth Place Playground came following memories of Eddie's childhood where he spent time playing growing up.

A new commemorative bench has also been added to the park, which just over 100 people showed up to see at the event in order to pay tribute to Eddie.

Today would have also been the eve of his 21st birthday.

Last Friday, three men were charged with Eddie's murder; Zachariah Talbert Young, 26, Paul Elijah Hayden, 21, and Cartell Williams, 28.

All three charged were all remanded into custody pending a Crown Court hearing.
