Nia Archives to fill vacant Forwards Festival slot in Bristol
The jungle star replaces US rapper Doechii who dropped out earlier in the week
Nia Archives will step-in to perform the Sunday night headliners slot at this weekend's Forwards Festival in Bristol.
The singer, songwriter and producer is set to replace Doechii after the US rapper dropped out earlier this week.
The event bills itself as an inner city music festival drawing the biggest names in international music to Bristol Downs.
Tom Paine, Festival Director, told us: "Obviously we were all really devastated by Doechii pulling out - and in the bigger scheme there were a number of gigs she had to cancel - but for Nia to step in at the last minute and pull a show together at extremely short notice, massive respect to her.
"The announcement seems to have gone down really, really well."
Other acts performing over the weekend include Olivia Dean, Ezra Collective, Jorja Smith and the Last Dinner Party.
