Police appeal for witnesses following incident involving two cars

A motorcyclist in his 20s is in hospital with serious injuries following a collision involving two cars in Bristol.

The incident occurred at the junction of Kings Weston Road and Fernhill Lane, Lawrence Weston, at 5.35pm on Monday.

The rider was on a grey Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 when he was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Astra and a white Toyota Aygo.

He remains in a stable condition, but his injuries are said to be potentially life-threatening.

His family has been informed.

The drivers of both cars spoke with officers at the scene, and no arrests were made.

Police are appealing for witnesses who have information or dashcam footage that might assist their inquiries.

Officers are particularly interested in footage from the nearby areas, including Broadlands Drive, Commonfield Road, and Oakhanger Drive.
