Man arrested after person left with 'life-changing' injuries following serious assault in Keynsham

An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Keynsham.
The incident happened on Lays Drive, with emergency services receiving a call at around 8:10am today, Wednesday 27th May.
One person has been taken to hospital with injuries that are considered potentially life changing, but not life threatening.
The police have confirmed that they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the assault and assure the public there is no further risk.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
