M4 closed overnight after serious crash near Bristol

The M4 motorway westbound at junction 20 was closed following a serious collision reported at around 9pm last night (Wednesday 2nd September).

Emergency services responded quickly to the scene and a man has been taken to hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening, and he remains under medical care.

Drivers were urged to avoid the area and investigations by authorities continue.
