Emergency gas works on A30 in Yeovil
Wales and West Utilities are dealing with a leak on Sherborne Road
Temporary traffic lights are being set up on the A30 Sherborne Road in Yeovil, due to emergency gas works.
Wales and West Utilities are working on site from today (Thursday 1st May), with a leak expected to be fixed by Thursday 8th May.
Efforts to trace and repair a leak are expected to cause traffic disruption for a busy route, close to Yeovil Pen Mill train station.
Travel Somerset's warned the multiway lights will be in place for the duration of the works, including the Bank Holiday weekend.
They've said that will 'minimise disruption for road users as much as possible'.
Drivers are also being thanked in advance for their 'understanding and cooperation during these essential repairs'.
