Four people have been sentenced for their roles in helping those responsible for the murders of Max Dixon and Mason Rist in Bristol evade capture.

Anthony Snook, Riley Tolliver, Kodishai Wescott, and two teenagers who cannot be named were previously convicted in 2024 for the tragic murders that took place in Knowle and are currently serving life sentences.

Today, Bristol Crown Court saw four others sentenced for assisting the offenders after the attack on 27th January 2024.

Jillian Tolliver coordinated with Marcus Williams to transport her son, Riley Tolliver, out of Bristol to Weston-super-Mare on 28th January, in an attempt to elude law enforcement.

On the same day, Dominic Smith and Ellie-Mae Maddocks sheltered Wescott and another individual overnight before driving them to Weston-super-Mare to further obstruct police efforts.

Following a trial that concluded December, Smith, Maddocks, Williams, and Jillian Tolliver faced sentencing today.

Smith and Maddocks, both 26, from Westbury-on-Trym, were found guilty on two counts of assisting an offender. Smith was handed a four-year prison term while Maddocks was given a two-year suspended sentence and must complete 120 hours of unpaid work.

Williams, aged 32 and residing in Hartcliffe, received a four-year prison sentence for his conviction on one count of assisting an offender.

Jillian Tolliver, 51, also from Hartcliffe, was sentenced to a two-year supervision order after being found not fit to stand trial and adjudicated by facts instead.

Two additional individuals had earlier been sentenced for similar offences in relation to the case.

Officer DC Matthew Cron commented: "Eleven people have been sentenced concerning the deaths of Max and Mason – the five who murdered them and six who aided them in the subsequent hours."

"Today marks the final chapter of the legal proceedings, but we realise nothing will ever ease the pain that both families continue to endure."

"Over the past two years, Max and Mason’s families have shown remarkable strength, patience, and courage, for which we are especially grateful."
