Man charged in connection with theft of artefacts from Bristol Museum collection

More than 600 artefacts associated with the Empire and Commonwealth collection are thought to have been stolen

A 41-year-old man is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court after being charged in relation to a major museum theft investigation.

Dean Hall, of Prewett Street in Redcliffe, has been charged with handling stolen goods.

The charges relate to an investigation into a break-in at a premises in the Cumberland Road area of Bristol on 25th September last year.

Authorities reported that over 600 artefacts, associated with the Bristol Museum’s British Empire and Commonwealth collection, were taken during the burglary.
