Police have released images of two men they would like to speak to, following an incident of serious disorder after a football match in Bristol.

It forms part of enquiries into an incident in which a number of Millwall supporters suffered serious injuries during an unprovoked attack on Hotwells Road, at Bristol Harbourside.

The incident happened at around 5pm on Saturday 15th August, following the EFL Championship match between Bristol City and Millwall at Ashton Gate.

Four men, aged between 19 and 23, suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment, Avon and Somerset Police said.

They have since been discharged from hospital to continue their recovery at home.

Police said they remain in contact with the men, and have offered them access to support services they may benefit from.

Officers have carried out a number of enquiries, including a trawl of CCTV, speaking to witnesses, and intelligence checks.

Police are now releasing images of two people they believe may have information that could assist their enquiries.

The first man is described as white, aged between 18 and 21, with medium-length brown hair, and was wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts.

The second man is also described as white and aged between 18 and 21. He is taller than the first man, and was wearing a long-sleeved grey T-shirt and grey shorts.

The men pictured are asked to contact police, as is anyone who recognises them or has other information about the incident.
