Bristol caravan fires spark witness appeal
Police suspect the arson incidents in Fishponds may be linked
Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses following a series of suspected arson attacks on caravans in Bristol's Fishponds area.
Since November, four fires have occurred in the Goodneston Road area, with incidents reported on 13th November, 5th January, 26th/27th January, and 5th February.
Despite CCTV inquiries and witness interviews, those responsible have yet to be identified.
Detectives believe these incidents may be connected, according to Inspector Richard Jones of the Fishponds Neighbourhood Policing team.
Inspector Jones highlighted that there have been no serious injuries so far but emphasised the potential catastrophic consequences of deliberate fires for safety.
Police are cooperating with residents and the local council, while high-visibility patrols are underway to reassure the community and identify those responsible.
