Since all the excitement last year when Take That announced they would be going on 'The Circus Live Tour', fans have been hoping for information about new music, and now the band have revealed some more details.

After eagle-eyed fans noticed at the end of the Netflix documentary Take That there was a new song called 'You're A Superstar', the band have now revealed it will be on their upcoming 10th album. The song will also be released on 20th March. So let's find out more about what to expect and when...

What is Take That's 10th album called?

At present the band have not revealed what their new album will be called.

When will it be released?

It sounds like we could be looking for another Christmas Number 1 album in 2026.

Over the last year the band haven't kept it a secret that they have been writing new music, but it finally looks like they've been locking down some dates.

Take That spoke to Ken Bruce on Greatest Hits Radio where Gary Barlow told the radio presenter: "We've been at it (writing) for about a year now. We write away and what we tend to do nowadays is spend a lot of time writing and a short time recording."

The singer went on to reveal a rough timeline saying: "And so we're going to be recording in April an album for Christmas, I think."

This appears to match what Gary said in 2025 in an interview with Magic Radio, where he told Nicki Chapman: "We're also writing for the next Take That album, which will probably be the end of next year..."

What does it sound like?

At present we don't know what it sounds like as the band haven't gone into the studio yet. However, in an interview with Greatest Hits Radio, Mark said: "I think, all of us this year is making the right record, because that's where it all stems from. I think if we get the music right, it leads on to other things.

"So we're excited about going in the studio and doing that.”

In 2025, Gary also opened up about writing the album saying: "There's always something to write for. And I think it becomes very obvious very quickly, when it's Take That. Take That is the music we love to release, always looks upwards. I'm going to use some descriptions here.

"I actually hate talking about music, I like just making it and doing it rather than talking about it, but Take That music always feels like it goes upwards. It looks upwards and I always think you should imagine a big stadium full of audience with their arms in the air. And if you can do that to a song that's usually a Take That song."

What is the tracklist?

Take That have not revealed the tracklist for the album, however the band have confirmed the song featured on their documentary 'You're A Superstar' will be on the album.

When talking about the new song, Gary told Greatest Hits Radio: "I think this is the start of our next wave of music now. And we just felt like just something brand new at the end would be a really nice thing to leave the audience with, to bring it right up to date."
