Sugababes clear their socials and tease fans with cryptic post

Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy, better known as the Sugababes, have excited fans by clearing their socials and posting a photo with a cryptic caption.

The band, who rose to fame in the early 2000s with hits such as 'Overload' and 'Freak Like Me', shared a photo of a table and three chairs, with a caption written in Latin: 'Si me dederis ad lupos, dux eorum revertar'. The caption translates as: 'Throw me to the wolves and I'll return leading the pack'.

Since the Sugababes posted the photo fans have been leaving hundreds of excited messages. One wrote: 'Here 👏 we 👏 go 👏!!!!', another said: 'I got chills ❤️😍 excited 😍😍'.

A third fan commented: '🔥🔥🔥 I don’t get it but I am ready !'

Siobhán also commented: '💛💛💛', with Louise Redknapp writing: '❤️❤️❤️'.

What is being announced?

Sugababes have not revealed what they are going to announce, but fans are hoping for new music.

One fan commented: 'Album announcement incoming …. we hope 😍', with another saying: 'If it’s not an album I’m walking 🚶🏻‍♂️'.

When will it be announced?

This latest post comes as the band have a mysterious timer counting down on their website. The countdown, which as a yellow spiral pattern rotating behind it, will reach zero at 7am BST on Thursday 24th September. Fans are assuming something will be announced by the band then.

One fan joked: 'If Thursday doesn’t bring an album preorder I’m ready to throw you to the wolves 🥴'.
