Two men have been arrested over the death of a woman in Southport.
The body of the woman, in her 50s, was discovered by ambulance crews in a flat on Meols Cop Road on Wednesday night (26 February).
Police are treating her death as "unexplained", with investigations ongoing into the full circumstances of what happened.
A 48-year-old man from Kirkdale and a 60-year-old man from Ainsdale were arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody.
They have since been conditionally bailed pending further enquiries.
