Three teenage girls charged with manslaughter of London pensioner

The 14, 16 and 17-year-olds are due to appear in court tomorrow

Three teenager's have been charged with manslaughter, following the death of a man in North London earlier this week.

75-year-old Fredi Rivero died after being attacked on Seven Sisters Road, Islington, on Thursday evening, around 11:35pm.

He was given first aid but sadly died in hospital on Friday.

Met Police Officers later arrested three teenage girls on suspicion of GBH.

They have now charged a 14-year-old girl, 16-year-old girl, and 17-year-old girl with manslaughter.

The teenagers, who can't be named for legal reasons, will appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court tomorrow, March 3.

A post-mortem will be taking place for the pensioner, and an appeal for information is ongoing.
