Serious Assaults Prompt Action
On Thursday evening, three separate stabbings occurred in Chadderton, leaving three men injured. They received hospital treatment and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Two arrests have been made in connection with these assaults, and investigations are ongoing. A significant police presence will continue in the area.
Community Assurance and Call for Information
Police have assured the community that knife crime is being tackled across Oldham and Greater Manchester.
“Our neighbourhood teams, along with the dedicated force-wide knife crime team, Operation Venture, are actively working to make arrests, seize weapons, and disrupt those intending to commit offences,” a spokesperson said.
Anyone with information regarding Thursday's incidents is encouraged to contact local authorities by calling 101 or reaching out to Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
