Emergency Services are searching for a boy who went missing whilst swimming with friends in Ribchester.
Officers were called at around 2pm today (26 May) to reports that a child had got into difficulty whilst swimming in a river in Ribchester.
Police have confirmed that searches are ongoing at this time.
People in the area should expect an increased police presence.
