Police appeal for information after a man is shot in a café in Liverpool

Police have launched an investigation after a man was shot inside a café in Liverpool.
Officers were called to Lodge Lane in Toxteth at around 5pm yesterday following reports of several gunshots heard at the address.
It's now been confirmed that one male suffered a gunshot wound which is not life threatening and is currently receiving hospital treatment.
Road closures are in place on Lodge Lane while officers carry out enquiries, including CCTV and house-to-house enquiries.
A stop-search order is now in place until 6.59pm tonight where it will be further reviewed.
The Section 60 Order gives officers enhanced stop and search powers to stop individuals in the area and is designed to minimise serious violence.
The Order includes is Upper Parliament Street, Smithtown , Road, Greenbank Road, Greenbank Road, North Mossley Hill Road, Queens Drive, Aigburth Vale, Carnatic Road, Victoria Road, Ashfield Road, Aigburth Road, Park Road, Park Place and St James Place.
