Scotland's world-famous New Year celebrations returned with a bang last night (Wednesday)

Thousands packed into Princes Street to watch fireworks being set off above Edinburgh Castle at midnight.

And, in what's becoming an increasingly popular tradition, fundraisers have been stripping off and running into freezing cold water all around Scotland this morning.

We caught up with these people taking part in the Loony Dook at South Queensferry...
