A Metropolitan Police officer has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting two women while on duty.

PC Islam Abdel-Hady, 43, who is attached to the West Area Basic Command Unit, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and has been suspended from duty.

The charges relate to two separate incidents, which allegedly happened in January 2020 and February 2025.

The women involved are known to PC Abdel-Hady.

He's due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday (5 October).
