He will be performing at Wembley in November
Sam Ryder made a name for himself through TikTok, before representing the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest, coming a very respectable second place behind Ukraine. Since then he has released an album called 'There's Nothing but Space, Man!', and been on tour. However, now he has announced his biggest headline gig to date, and tickets are now on sale.
The singer, who will be making his Glastonbury debut later this year, has now confirmed he will be taking to the stage at Wembley Stadium in November.
Sharing the news last week with an announcement on Instagram, Sam can be seen standing outside Wembley reminiscing about seeing his favourite band, Sum 41, when he was just 13-years-old.
He ends the video saying he's going to find out which seat he was sitting in for his first gig, and leave something under it.
Speaking about his huge gig, the singer said: "I saw my first ever gig at Wembley Arena, it was Sum 41 and I was crammed right in the back wondering if I’d ever get to jump around on stage like those legends. 22 years later, here we are, and it still doesn’t feel real! We’re stoked to put together an insane show for you, and so thankful that the road from that first gig led here."
This announcement came just a few weeks after Sam released his song 'White Lies', co-written with Nick Lobel (Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Harry Styles).
When is Sam Ryder performing in the UK?
He will be doing one date at Wembley Arena on 6th November 2025.
