It's been a huge year for music across genres, with standout releases from the likes of Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Addison Rae and Olivia Dean dominating charts and making their way into fresh playlists.
Now, attention turns to music’s biggest night as this year’s nominees get ready to walk the red carpet, before finding out who will be walking away with a golden gramophone at this year’s GRAMMYs.
What are The GRAMMYs?
The GRAMMY Awards honour excellence in recorded music across dozens of categories spanning pop, rock, rap, R&B, country, classical and more, as voted on by members of the Recording Academy.
The 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards will recognise work released between 31st August 2024 and 30th August 2025, in line with the Recording Academy’s current eligibility year. Categories include headline races such as Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist, alongside genre and craft awards covering performance, songwriting, production and engineering.
When are The GRAMMYs taking place?
The 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards are scheduled for Sunday 1st February 2026.
Where are they being held?
The awards will take place at the Crypto.com Arena (formerly Staples Center) in Los Angeles, California, US. 2026 marks the 23rd year The GRAMMYs have been held at the arena, which has hosted most ceremonies since the early 2000s.
How can I watch The GRAMMYs?
For UK viewers, only Paramount subscribers with the Showtime add-on will be able to watch the event live. However, if you’re a Paramount+ Essential subscriber you cannot stream the show live, but you can watch it on demand the next day.
The full ceremony will also be streamed live online on live.grammy.com.
Who is hosting The GRAMMYs?
Comedian and presenter Trevor Noah will host the 2026 GRAMMYs, marking his sixth consecutive year fronting the awards night.
He first took over GRAMMY hosting duties for the 2021 ceremony and has since become a regular presence at the show, combining stand‑up and topical commentary in his opening monologue (or ceremonial roast).

Lady Gaga
GRAMMY Award winner and current GRAMMY nominee Lady Gaga will take the stage at this year's ceremony. In 2025, the singer released her album MAYHEM, featuring the hit singles 'Abracadabra' and 'The Dead Dance'.
Sabrina Carpenter
Pop powerhouse Sabrina Carpenter returns to the GRAMMYs stage to showcase new tracks from her latest album 'Man’s Best Friend'.
Clipse & Pharrell Williams
Hip-hop duo Clipse will link up with longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams to perform GRAMMY-nominated tracks like 'Let God Sort Em Out', 'The Birds Don’t Sing' and 'Chains & Whips'.
Addison Rae
Social media star-turned-pop singer Addison Rae will bring the glossy cuts from her debut album 'Addison'.
Alex Warren
Breakout singer-songwriter Alex Warren is set to lean into the emotional pull of his Billboard-topping single 'Ordinary' from his debut album 'You’ll Be Alright Kid'.
Katseye
Girl group Katseye will peform high-energy singles from their EP 'Beautiful Chaos'.
Leon Thomas
Actor-turned-R&B artist Leon Thomas is set to spotlight cuts from his acclaimed album 'MUTT', following his GRAMMY-winning work on SZA’s 'Snooze'.
Olivia Dean
The British breakout star Olivia Dean is known for songs like 'The Art of Loving', 'Man I Need', and 'So Easy (To Fall in Love)'.
Sombr
Genre-blurring artist and producer Sombr will tap into the raw, alternative edge of his debut album 'I Barely Know Her'.
The Marías
Bilingual pop band The Marías - known for their viral hit 'No One Noticed' - will perform music from their second album 'Submarine'. They also featured on Bad Bunny’s song 'Otro Atardecer', in 2022.
Lola Young
Rising British voice Lola Young, is famed for her breakout single 'Messy' from 'This Wasn’t Meant for You Anyway,' which became a late night social media staple.
Andrew Watt
Producer-guitarist Andrew Watt also joins the lineup as part of the Ozzy Osbourne tribute.
Brandy Clark
GRAMMY-winning country singer-songwriter Brandy Clark is best known for penning hits like Miranda Lambert’s 'Mama’s Broken Heart' and Kacey Musgraves’ 'Follow Your Arrow'.
Chad Smith
Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith joins the Ozzy Osbourne tribute band.
Duff McKagen
Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan also joins the Ozzy Osbourne tribute supergroup.
Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber returns to the GRAMMYs stage for the first time in four years, performing new material from his four-times-nominated album 'Swag', including standouts 'Daisies' and 'Yukon'.
Lucas Nelson
Country artist Lukas Nelson joins Reba McEntire and Brandy Clark for the Grammys’ in memoriam segment.
Ms. Lauren Hill
The Grammy-winning icon behind 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill' will also lead an emotional in memoriam tribute, honoring the late D’Angelo and Roberta Flack.
Post Malone
Post Malone will take on double duty at the GRAMMYs, fronting the Ozzy Osbourne rock tribute, while also helping lead the in memoriam segment.
Reba McEntire
Country legend Reba McEntire will lead the GRAMMYs’ in memoriam tribute, teaming up with Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson to honour musical icons.
Slash
Rock guitar icon Slash will also plug into the GRAMMYs’ Ozzy Osbourne tribute.
Harry Styles to present at GRAMMYs
Harry Styles is also set to take on presenting duties at this year’s GRAMMY Awards, adding extra star power to the show as anticipation builds for his upcoming album 'Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally'.
The former One Direction star returns to the GRAMMYs as a past winner, having already picked up trophies for 'Watermelon Sugar' and 'Harry’s House', and will now swap the performance spotlight for a hosting role on the main stage.
His appearance comes as lead single 'Aperture' recently released, and a massive global residency tour keep momentum high, making his GRAMMYs slot a headline moment 'Harries' will be watching closely.
Who is nominated?
Kendrick Lamar leads the race with nine nominations, followed by Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff and producer Cirkut with seven apiece. Bad Bunny and Sabrina Carpenter secured six nominations each, while acts including TURNSTILE, Tyler, The Creator and SZA follow closely with five.

Was Taylor Swift nominated?
No - Taylor Swift was not nominated for any 2026 GRAMMYs Awards, because her latest album 'The Life of a Showgirl' released after the GRAMMYs’ eligibility window closed. So she will likely be eligible for the 2027 GRAMMYs Awards.
2025 GRAMMY highlights
The 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards delivered big wins and historic moments, with Beyoncé winning Album of the Year for 'Cowboy Carter', which was her first win in that category and a historic first Black woman to take Best Country Album as well.
Kendrick Lamar dominated the night with five wins, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for 'Not Like Us', while Chappell Roan was named Best New Artist.
The night was packed with instantly memeable moments, from Sabrina Carpenter's meticulously staged 'malfunction' medley and Chappell's riding a giant pink carousel pony while calling for fair pay and healthcare for new artists.

Early in 2026, Madison Beer released her album 'Locket'. The album features her songs 'yes baby' and 'bittersweet' and will be supported by 'The Locket Tour' coming to the UK in May.
Jason Derulo
Release date: 23rd January
Jason Derulo dropped his album 'The Last Dance (Part One) on Friday 23rd January! The album dropped just days before his arrival into the UK dates for his huge tour!
Louis Tomlinson - 'How Did I Get Here?'
Release date: 23rd January
Louis Tomlinson announced in September 2025 that he would be releasing his third album 'How Did I Get Here?' on 23rd January 2026. The album features his hit songs 'Lemonade' and 'Imposter'.
Westlife - '25 - The Ultimate Collection'
Release date: 13th February
Following the hugely exciting news that Westlife will be going on 'The 25th Anniversary World Tour' next year, the band have announced a new album called '25 - The Ultimate Collection'. The album will feature many of the band's biggest hits along with some new material recorded by all four members of the band.
Leigh-Anne - 'My Ego Told Me To'
Release date: 20th February
Leigh-Anne announced in October 2025 that she would be releasing her album in 2026. The album called 'My Ego Told Me To' will be supported by a tour of the same name.
Bruno Mars - 'The Romantic'
Release date: 27th February
Bruno Mars has confirmed his next album 'The Romantic' will be released on 27th February, and preceded by a new single, due for release on 9th January. This is the singer's first solo album since '24K Magic' in 2016.
Harry Styles
Release date: 6th March 2026
Harry Styles confirmed in January 2026 that he would be releasing his fourth album in March. The album is called 'Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.' and will feature the lead single 'Aperture'.
RAYE - 'This Music May Contain Hope'
Release date: 27th March 2026
RAYE announced in January 2026 that her second album would be entitled 'This Music May Contain Hope' and would be released on 27th March 2026! She shared the news on Instagram alongside the album artwork, which shows her holding onto a rope and opening a door in the sky which shows the album's title as if it's the sun. We don't yet know the full track list, but we know that fan-favourite 'Where Is My Husband!' will appear on the record.
Melanie C - 'Sweat'
Release date: 1st May
In October 2025, Melanie C has announced she will be releasing a new album called 'Sweat' in 2026, and it will feature her current single, which is the title track. The album will include 13 songs including the lead single and is the singer's 'most euphoric record to date'.
