U2 have announced a third show at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium due to phenomenal demand.
The Irish rock giants will play an extra show in the English capital on Tuesday 22nd June 2027 in addition to their previously announced shows on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th June.
U2 will be joined by special guests Wolf Alice at the concerts, and tickets go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 6th November.
The trio of London gigs are part U2’s The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour, which also includes concerts in Stockholm, Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Berlin, Milan, Mexico City, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires next year, with more dates to be announced.
The Greatest Show on Earth Tour follows the Friday 13th November release of the Irish band’s 16th studio album ‘Carnaval De Luz’.
The tour shares its moniker with U2's new single 'The Greatest Show on Earth', which was co-written by Bono and Brian Eno and tells the story of lovers fighting to keep faith in each other - and faith itself.
Commenting on the tour’s bold name, U2 said: “‘The Greatest Show on Earth’? Now that's a throwdown. It's a dare, to ourselves as much as anyone, to try and have the best night of anybody's life.
“A bit of showman, a bit of shaman, a riot of colour, unreasonable guitar, bass and drums, and tunes you can hold onto.
“Because if people are gonna show up, we certainly are.”
