Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has confirmed that Ozzy Osbourne will sing four songs at the Back to the Beginning concert on Saturday (5th July).

Heavy metal pioneer Tony Iommi has conducted a new interview with BBC Midlands Today about Black Sabbath’s star-studded final show at Villa Park, and he admitted to some pre-show jitters.

"We're all nervous really", Iommi said. "People are coming from all over the world and I just can't absorb it.

"This is totally different from anything else we've done. You know, we've played to 300,000 people, but this is nerve-racking. We're playing in our hometown, we've got all these bands on with us, and we haven't played together for 20 years."

Although rehearsals have gone well, 77-year-old Iommi conceded performing isn’t as easy as decades ago.

"I wouldn't say it's been easy, it's been tough, because none of us are getting younger and to stand there for a couple of hours is tiring," Iommi said.

Asked about how many songs Ozzy will sing on the night, Iommi replied: "He might not be able to do the whole show, but he's gonna do four songs. He's singing fine. It's just a shame to see the way it is. But that's life, I suppose. You've just gotta get on with it. But we're all looking forward to it, and all nervous as well, which is very unusual."

All tickets to Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning concert are sold out, however tickets to the livestream are on sale HERE.

Alongside Sabbath and Ozzy, the all-day extravaganza will feature sets from Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, Tool, Rival Sons, Anthrax and Mastodon.
