Beginning with Bauer at Closer Online back in 2016 as a Digital Writer, Emma moved to the Audio team in 2018 to shift her writing focus to her true passion - music - while additionally covering TV, films and trending topics relevant to our audiences.

With a focus on long-form features, Emma prefers digging in to a topic and really uncovering a well-rounded view of an artist - using honed SEO skills to figure out the answers to the questions people are really interested in. She especially enjoys a deep dive on song meanings analysis and lyrics interpretation!

Emma covers a wide range of artists spanning a multitude of brands with their own specific audiences - from Anne-Marie, RAYE and Olivia Dean to Sam Fender and Arctic Monkeys; even the likes of Take That and Carrie Underwood.
