Following his recent performances in the UK, Paul Carrack has now announced another tour for 2026, including dates in cities such as Glasgow, Brighton, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham and London.
The new tour will celebrate Paul Carrack's music from the last 50 years as well as his latest album, set for release this week. The album called 'The Country Side of Paul Carrack' is released on 4th July and was recorded in Nashville.
Speaking about the album, Paul said: "Country music has always had a strong pull on me, something about its honesty, its soul. Recording in Nashville was a dream. I've had this album in mind for years, and now it feels like the right moment, both musically and personally. I can't wait to bring these songs to life on stage. We'll be playing them alongside all the favourites. The band and I are ready to go all in; it's going to be a special tour."
Over the past five decades, Paul has become known for lending his voice to many hits such as Ace's 'How Long', Squeeze's 'Tempted' and Mike + The Mechanics hits like 'Silent Running'.
Paul's tour will see him performing across the UK in April and May 2026, the singer said of the tour: "There's no feeling like performing live with this band. We've been through it all together, and we're excited to bring something new to these incredible venues. It's going to be a big one."
Back in 2023, Paul Carrack joined Ken Bruce for Golden Years, on Greatest Hits Radio, where they chatted about why 1974 was a significant year for him.
"That's when we released 'How Long’ (as part of Ace), I think it was the first time I sang on record," he explained.
"Sang lead anyway, (before that I was) just playing, playing keyboards or whatever was needed, we usually had a designated good looking guy at the front, but in Ace we were all ugly, so they didn't really matter, you know."
