Anton Du Beke & Craig Revel Horwood chat their new podcast, pop culture moments and more
The duo’s podcast Judgemental is out now
Last updated 9th Jun 2026
Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood have swapped the stage for the studio in their new Rayo Original podcast Judgemental. The duo will be in your ears every Tuesday to share their most unfiltered, brutally honest opinions over a cup of tea.
They’ll be gossiping about everything from pop culture to national treasures, breaking down their biggest guilty pleasures, and debating the most outrageous stories sent in by listeners.
To celebrate the launch, we sat down with Anton and Craig to hear more about the podcast, their friendship (they go all the way back to 2004) and their top pop culture moments of the year.
Listen to Judgemental every Tuesday on Rayo, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music or wherever you get your podcasts.
How would you describe your friendship in one sentence?
A: “We are cut from the same cloth although with a slightly different pattern.”
C: “My friendship with Anton is built on decades of shared laughter, mutual respect, a love of performance, and the rare ability to make each other smile even in the most chaotic moments.”
What's your favourite thing about each other?
A: “I think Craig’s wonderful and somebody I turn to when I need an ear to bend.”
C: “Anton’s passion for entertainment and life.”
What's your best memory from Strictly?
A “Doing a song and dance number with Bruce Forsyth.”
C: “When I thought Anton’s teeth were fake props after his performance as Austin Powers.”
Why did you want to start a podcast together?
A: “We really enjoy being together and nattering. We love to chat, we have very different opinions about stuff (but sometimes, surprisingly very similar opinions) and Craig is a great gossip!”
C: “Mainly from gossiping in our very long car journeys to and from venues when touring and sharing a dressing room.”
What can we expect from Judgemental?
A: “Us being us - picture us in the back of the car, going to another tour venue after just finishing a show and just chatting.”
C: “The ‘real’ us! Our true selves: unguarded and very opinionated.”
What has been your favourite topic to discuss so far?
A: “Fashion, work placed dramas and weddings.”
C: “Definitely fashion. We have extremely different tastes and views.”
How have you found hosting a podcast compared to appearing as a judge on TV?
A: “We get more time on the podcast. That’s the lovely thing: we have as much time as we want so we can expand on our thoughts.”
C: “We can be ourselves on the podcast. As judges, we are performing a task and are in work mode, putting our professional dance hat on to form an opinion about a one minute 30 dance routine to provide constructive criticism.”
Favourite thing to have with a cup of tea?
A: “I love a hot cross bun or a cucumber sandwich. I love the full-on afternoon tea malarkey, too.”
C: “A sausage roll.”
Favourite pop culture moment from 2026 so far?
A: “The Hawkstone Farmer’s Choir winning Britain's Got Talent. My goodness, weren’t they superb? The King and Queen are in for a treat.”
C: “Madonna unexpectedly taking over Times Square with a surprise performance to launch her new music.”
