The Traitors series 4 icon, Fiona, has spoken out about THAT explosive row which sealed her fate at the round table earlier this month, saying her strategy "spectacularly blew up" in her face. The red-cloaked Traitor was banished just two episodes after we discovered her identity — and fans are still baffled by the way it all unfolded.

After advising future players never to "do a Fiona", the Welshwoman also opened up about her shock decision to switch her vote to Sam, saying she believed in "Traitor loyalty". Even more surprisingly though, she revealed she was 90% sure Amanda HAD told Rachel about her job as a detective 😮.

In an interview with Hits Radio Breakfast, Fiona told Fleur East and James Barr: “I’ll tell you why I voted for Sam. It was because he had heat on him, but I knew I was going to go that night. There’s no way I was going to remain. I would not have voted for Rachel because, believe it or not, there is Traitor loyalty.”

She also spoke of that ICONIC stare-off with Rachel, saying it lasted around a minute long!

“Poor old Stephen," she said. "Did you see him? He was going back and forth. My little darling boy.”

In an interview with KISS, Fiona told presenter Jordan Lee that she formed the strategy to accuse Rachel of lying despite being pretty sure Amanda HAD told Rachel about her job: “I was 90 per cent sure she had!

“I felt that Rachel would throw me under the bus, because she was playing the game magnificently. Far better than I ever could have.

“I didn’t want to be somebody’s pawn. I wanted to go out under my own terms and do it my way. Don’t go up against the Irish, I would say. Because our Rach, isn’t she magnificent. She is wonderful. The FBI are going to want her now.”

Cheekily she added: “I went power mad. They took the red cloak off me. They could see I was delirious on power.”

Fiona also spoke to Magic Radio, where she revealed she thought the heated conversation with Rachel would remain private. She told presenter Tom Price: "Then Rachel said wait ‘til I tell everybody and went off into the kitchen. So when I went into the kitchen, I had to go with it, I could not backtrack from that.

“I was the master of my own downfall. It absolutely spectacularly failed.

Fiona then revealed who she thought would make a good Welsh celebrity for the upcoming second season of Celebrity Traitors: “I would love to see Michael Sheen on there. Whether or not he’d consider it because he is a busy, busy, busy man. Uncle Bryn (Gavin and Stacey’s Rob Brydon)… I mean we’ve got a pool of talent. Dan Biggar (former Welsh Rugby Union player), now there’s a man who would make a fantastic Traitor.”

The former Traitor made her predictions for the win, telling Tom: “I am and always will root for Team Traitors. So I want Rachel, because she’s magnificent, and Stephen because he’s my lovely, lovely boy.

“He just goes red very quickly and he’s not good at confrontation, but he can do it. Alan Carr did it, so Stephen can do it.”
