Ghost Market
Release date: March 2028
Cast: TBC
Synopsis: Disney say: 'Pixar is developing a brand-new original film titled Ghost Market. A clip from the film introduces audiences to ʻOno Market, a little plate lunch shop hidden away in a remote location on Oʻahu's North Shore that serves lost spirits, stuck between life and death. The living have never set foot in this place — until a fast-talking kid named Kyle blunders in and finds himself on an unexpected supernatural adventure.'
Lilo & Stitch 2
Release date: 28th May 2028
Cast: Maia Kealoha, Zach Galifianakis and Hannah Waddingham will return as Lilo, Dr. Jumba and the Grand Councilwoman respectively.
Synopsis: We don't know just yet - but what we do know is that Stitch's love interest, Angel, will appear in the next film.
Incredibles 3
Release date: 16th June 2028
Cast: There's no info about who will star in Incredibles 3, but we would imagine that Craig T. Nelson would return as Mr Incredible with Holly Hunter as Elastigirl and Sarah Vowell as Violet. Samuel L. Jackson also starred in both films as Lucius Best/Frozone.
Synopsis: At the jaw-dropping D23 fan event in August 2026, Pixar bosses gave a huge update on what we can expect from the third - and final - film in the franchise. Pete Docter said: "Rounding off the trilogy, the Parr family and Frozone are back. If you remember in the last film, supers are officially legal again, thanks to Winston Deavour. Now, he's an entrepreneur at heart. Deavour is launching the superhero league, it's a heavily sponsored organisation built on a massive platform of branding, marketing and merchandising - something we don't really know anything about at Disney!
"In the first Incredibles, Bob learned that his family is actually his greatest adventure. In the second, Elastigirl took centre stage and with Incredibles 3, it's the kids' turn. Violet and Dash are determined to step out onto the road, they want to prove that they are ready to be real supers and their parents are not quite so convinced. They've been sneaking out at night to protect the city - that doesn't go over so well at home. To make matters worse, they are struggling to contain Jack Jack, whose powers make it even more unstable and potentially dangerous.
"A new threat is taking a heavy toll on Bob who is grappling with his own relevance in a world of supers that may have outgrown him. Because even though supers are legal again, it doesn't mean all supers are good. The Incredibles, the Parr family will face off against a super villain with more power than all the family put together and all of us-", being cut off mid-sentence by the return of fan-favourite character Edna Mode.
Clay (working title)
Release date: 2028
Cast: Kieran Culkin as Flip
Synopsis: The new film was confirmed at Disney's D23 event in August 2026, with Disney Animation Chief Creative Officer Jared Bush explaining that 'the original animated adventure is set in a magical forest full of fantastical creatures. When the rebellious misfit Flip is unwillingly chosen during a yearly ritual to mentor a young, impressionable ball of clay named Mushy, the unlikely duo is swept into a chaotic, funny, and ultimately life-changing adventure.'
Coco 2
Release date: November 2029
Cast: TBC
Synopsis: At the D23 event in August 2026, actor Benjamin Bratt - who voiced villain Ernesto de la Cruz in the original - gave a little overview of what we can expect from the upcoming sequel: "To some, Miguel is a little menace who ruined a career and destroyed a legacy. Ernesto de la Cruz is back for revenge, sending Miguel on an adventure back to the land of the dead. Proving fate has a sense of humor, Miguel must team up with a handsome superstar: me."
Moana 3
Release date: TBC
Cast: TBC
Moana 3 is very much in the early stages - with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson (who plays demigod Maui in both the animated and live-action versions of the Moana franchise) saying that a third animated film is "in talks" during press for the live-action film in July 2026. He told fans at a press event in Brazil that they would focus on getting the live-action film out the way first, and then begin writing the third film.
Zootopia 3 (Zootropolis in the UK)
