Seven people are due to appear in court charged with offences, including conspiracy to kidnap and conspiracy to murder, following an alleged acid attack in which a man sustained serious injuries in Plymouth.
Officers from Devon & Cornwall Police, along with colleagues from the Metropolitan Police, made arrests at a number of addresses in central London on Thursday 10 April.
This resulted in six men, aged in their 20s, being taken into custody.

Those charged have all, in some way, contributed to the planned kidnap and murder of Daniel Cahalane, between the 7-20 January 2025.

An investigation is ongoing after officers were called to a property in Lipson Road, Plymouth, at around 3.55am on Friday 21 February following reports of a serious assault. The victim, a man in his 30s, was injured and remains in a serious condition in hospital.
