Man charged with murder in Dover

A man has been charged after a murder investigation was launched in Dover.

Kent police say a male in his twenties was found dead at a home in Rose Gardens, Eythorne on Thursday evening.

68 year-old Stephen Boyd Rooke has been charged with murder and will appear in court today.

Detectives are still asking anyone with information or CCTV to come forward.

Kent Police was called to a property in Rose Gardens, Eythorne, on Thursday 29 January 2026, following reports of an assault.
