Leicester crash: two men released on bail
Three men have been arrested whilst 3 others remain in hospital
Detectives have confirmed two out of three men arrested over a crash in Leicester have been released on bail.
Three people suffered serious injuries - and fourth was also hurt - after they were hit by a car in De Montfort Street early Saturday morning (31 May).
This collision was reported to have happened following a fight at the same location, at around 12:00 am.
Two men and two women were injured in the crash.
Three of the people currently remain in hospital in a serious but stable condition. The fourth person - a man - suffered minor injuries and has been discharged from hospital.
A 28 year old man - who's from the city remains in custody.
Meanwhile, a 31-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and causing serious injury by dangerous driving following the collision.
He has now been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
On Saturday afternoon, two further men were arrested.
A 34-year-old man, from Leicester, was arrested on suspicion of affray. He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The 28-year-old arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and causing serious injury by dangerous driving following the collision remains in police custody.
