Family pays tribute to 'kind man' who died in Littleborough aircraft crash

The family of Mustafa Qays Obadey, who tragically lost his life in an aircraft crash in Littleborough, has paid tribute to his memory.

Obadey, 39, from Greenford in London, died following the crash that occurred on 3rd February.

Shortly after 11am, reports indicated that the aircraft, which had departed from Birmingham, crashed in a farmland area of Littleborough, Rochdale.

According to a family spokesperson, Obadey was described as 'the most humble, kind man you’ll ever meet.'

They added, 'He was the glue of the family and community.

Always available and accepting for everyone.

Thank you Mustafa.'

36-year-old Arian Abbasi, a pilot from Harrow in Greater London, was also killed in the incident.

His family said he was “a deeply loving father and a devoted husband.

The Greater Manchester Police are continuing their investigations into the crash.
