Man accused of murdering Graham Wright in Loch Lomond remains case
50-year-old David McColl allegedly assaulted Graham Wright, who's partial remains were discovered at Loch Lomond
A suspect has appeared in court accused of murdering a man whose remains were found at Loch Lomond.
David McColl, 50, allegedly assaulted Graham Wright, 38, whose remains were discovered at Rubha Dubh, near Firkin Point, on September 13 2025.
He is also accused of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
McColl, of Glasgow, also faces two further charges of breaching bail.
McColl appeared at a private hearing today/yesterday at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
McColl made no plea, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody by Sheriff Joan Kerr.
He will appear at court again within the next eight days.
Another man, John Roarty, 54, appeared in the same court last Thursday also accused of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
He will appear at court again this week.
