Man charged with woman's murder in Dersingham

A man is set to appear in court following the discovery of a woman's body

A man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a woman in Dersingham.

45 year old Mark Cain, from Fern Hill, was charged on Tuesday afternoon (6 Oct) following the discovery of 45-year-old Hannah Cain’s body at an address on Fern Hill in the early hours of 4th October.

He is scheduled to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court this morning, (7 October).

Hannah Cain's identity is subject to confirmation at formal inquest proceedings, and officers from the Home Office conducted a post-mortem examination on 5th October.

The cause of death remains pending further investigation.

Specialist officers continue to support Hannah’s family, who have requested privacy during this difficult time.
