West Yorkshire Police officer to appear in court on rape and sexual assault charges

The 38 year old is due before York Magistrates' at the end of the month

A West Yorkshire Police officer is due in court charged with rape and three counts of sexual assault.

Detective Constable Dan Livesley, 48, who is based in the Bradford District, will be before York Magistrates' Court on June 30.

The allegations are said to have happened when he was off was off duty.

The investigation is being conducted by North Yorkshire Police, with Livesley currently suspended from duty.
