Woman dies after crash on M621 in Leeds
A 34 year old Morley woman was struck by a car early this morning

A woman has died after being hit by a car on the M621 in Leeds this morning.
Emergency services were called to Holbeck just before 5am after reports of a woman being seriously injured.
A 34 year old woman from Morley was later pronounced dead at the scene. She had been walking in the carriageway.
The driver of a VW Polo involved stopped at the scene and has been helping police.
Detective Inspector Paul Burlace of West Yorkshire Police, said “Our investigation remains ongoing into this tragic collision on the M621 in which a woman has sadly lost her life.
“Specially trained officers are supporting her family and we are appealing for witnesses and footage, showing either the collision or parties involved just before it took place.
