Kippax woman sets up female only run club after bad experience out jogging alone
It comes as campaigners across West Yorkshire are getting ready to unite against violence against women and girls as the clocks go back

Reclaim the Night events are taking place across West Yorkshire this weekend as the darker nights draw in.
It's hoped it will help raise awareness about the safety of women and girls.
We've been speaking to Olivia Tarpey, who has set up a female only running club Run Huns near Kippax. It's after a man in a car pulled up beside her one time when out jogging.
She told us: "I felt like he was going to get out and grab me and put me in the car. I felt fearful honestly, I feared for my life."
Run Hun's has now become a popular group which meets on Monday. This particular Monday we joined Olivia, they were running around RSPB St Aidan's. Liz was there and she explained if she goes out running by herself she "can't have your music on and just relax and forget about the stresses of the day and pound the pavement or whatever, you'll just be thinking is somebody in the car going to stop."
The events taking place this weekend come as the clocks are going back. The Mayor of West Yorkshire Tracy Brabin said:
“Turning back the clocks doesn’t just mean an extra hour in bed – for many women, it means changing their routines just to feel safe.
“That is why on Sunday, people across Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds, and Wakefield are standing united to Reclaim the Night and demand an end to violence against women and girls.
“Because we will not rest until West Yorkshire is a safer, fairer place for all. Join us and call for the change we all deserve.”
