Woman in critical condition after Huddersfield stabbing
A woman is in a critical condition in hospital after a stabbing in Huddersfield.
Police were called to Topaz Close just after half past 10 last night where they found a woman with serious leg and head injuries.
It's believed two suspects attacked her in the street and made off on an e-bike.
Detective Inspector Sarah Bradley of Kirklees CID said:
“This is a very serious incident where a woman has suffered serious injuries.
“Extensive enquiries are ongoing this morning including house to house and CCTV.
“Whilst the investigation is at an early stage, we believe this incident was targeted and there is no wider threat to the public.
“I would encourage anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw the suspects on an e-bike prior to the stabbing to come forward with information.
“We are working with our local neighbourhood policing team to provide reassurance.”
