Wakefield Trinity sign NRL star Roger Tuivasa-Sheck on two year deal from 2027
The 32 year old is a legendary figure in the game Down Under
Wakefield Trinity have announced the signing of NRL star Roger Tuivasa-Sheck on a two year deal, starting next season.
Tuivasa-Sheck, a legendary figure in the NRL, boasts over 230 appearances, including a Grand Final victory with Sydney Roosters in 2013.
The 32-year-old has had an illustrious career since his NRL debut in 2012, playing internationally for New Zealand and Samoa in Rugby League and representing the All Blacks in Rugby Union.
His accolades include Dally M Winger and Fullback of the Year awards, the Dally M Medal in 2018, and the Golden Boot in 2019 while playing for the Kiwis.
After switching to Rugby Union in 2022 and making three international appearances for the All Blacks, Tuivasa-Sheck returned to Rugby League in 2024 and represented Samoa in England’s tour and the 2025 Pacific Championships.
Tuivasa-Sheck said on the move: “I’m grateful for the opportunity to join Wakefield and compete in the Super League."
