Tributes paid to man who died after Halifax crash

Tributes are being paid to a man who died after he was hit by a car while crossing the road in Halifax.
Police say they were called to Ovendon Road on Saturday morning - 69 year old Andrew Naylor died at the scene.
A 30 year old has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail.
A Police statement said:
"The family of a man who died following a collision in Halifax have issued a tribute to him as police enquiries continue.
"The Major Collision Enquiry Team (MCET) is continuing to investigate the collision at the junction of Ovendon Road and Athol Gardens at just before 9.37am on Saturday 14 February which led to the death of Mr Andrew Naylor.
"Mr Naylor, aged 69, sadly died on Saturday evening from injuries sustained in the incident in which he was struck by a white Audi A3 while crossing the road."
In a tribute, his family, said:
“Andrew was the heart of our family and loved so much by each and every one of us. He had a heart as pure as gold and always had the biggest smile for anyone and everyone.”
