Teenager suffers serious injuries -thought to be stab wounds in Bradford

Police say they believe the victim was being chased shortly before the attack

A 19-year-old man has suffered serious injuries thought to be stab wounds in Bradford.

It happened last night.

Officers were called out to reports of an assault at a communal area at the flats on Mannville Terrace.

The teenager remains in hospital

Police say they believe the victim was being chased shortly before the attack and are appealing for witnesses.

Detective Inspector Dan Townend of Bradford CID, said:

“We are conducting a number of enquiries today to establish more detail about the circumstances of this assault on a victim with weapons.

“The assault left the victim with a number of serious injuries and it is clearly important we identify and arrest the persons responsible as swiftly as possible.

“Anyone who saw or has footage of the masked men matching the suspect’s descriptions entering the building at around 11.10pm and fleeing it at around 11.30pm is asked to contact us.
